LoQUo possesses the leading position in C2C online classifieds in Barcelona and is a leader in the broader market. The LoQUo leadership team is looking for a Commercial Manager to be a key thought partner and help take our business to the next level. Located in Madrid and reporting to the General Manager of LoQUo, the Commercial Manager would be responsible for the following:

Ensuring that top-line revenue targets are met by employing multiple monetization levers including but not limited to the following: Pricing, Features, Advertising (display & text links), Partnership deals

Working closely with the General Manager of LoQUo to develop the long term monetization strategy: Identifying ways to grow existing revenue streams and identifying / developing new revenue streams

Evaluating the financial and site impact of both optimizing existing revenue streams and creating new revenue streams

Identifying potential deals, outlining terms and leading negotiations with key business partners

Working closely with Product team to implement revenue-related initiatives

Developing and tracking key performance indicators by revenue stream

Acting as liaison with accounting to ensure proper accounting of revenue

Maintaining an in-depth, and up-to-date understanding of all applicable online / offline monetization opportunities

Building, leading and developing a solid team: outlining resource requirements for revenue generation, driving recruitment to fill these roles, and managing and developing team members to achieve their full potential

The ideal candidate would posses the following skills:

Expertise in internet revenue models (ecommerce-related and advertising) from a technical, financial, and strategic standpoint

Applicable internet experience in a fast-paced, start-up environment

Entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated ability to innovate

Business development expertise: ability to identify potential deals, outline terms and demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals

Structured thinking and ability to translate strategy into an action plan and execute flawlessly

The ideal candidate will possess the following education & experience:

Bachelors degree, with an MBA being an advantage

Great interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal)

5-7 years work experience, with 3+ years experience in a fast growth internet / ecommerce environment in a related role

A track record in people management

Management consulting experience, while not required, would be an advantage
